Builds on skills developed in SMAW 1. Learners cellulose and low hydrogen electrogen electrodes in fillet and groove welds in all positions. Weld quality is assessed per AWS D1.1 - Structural Steel Code.

This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lab competencies will be completed in the Welding Lab at the Wausau Campus. Rooms for this class will be H127 and H136. This lab is open Monday through Thursday, 12:00PM-8:00PM. Contact advisory Houa Lee with questions.
