Introduces ladder logic symbols and diagrams used in industrial control circuits. Safety standards and procedures are reviewed and implemented. Discrete industrial devices are also studied including switches, relays, timers, and motor starters.

This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lectures will be offered online. Projects will be completed in the AME lab at the Wausau Campus Room I104. This lab is open Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00am-8:00PM, Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm. For questions, contact Steve Wittenberg, academic advisor.
