Explores two main topic areas: PLC and HMI machine applications. The learner will demonstrate the ability to learn to program a PLC they have not worked with before as well as an HMI they have not worked with before. The learner will integrate the study of curriculum, technical manuals, help files and previous knowledge to demonstrate their ability to learn new technology. Learner will develop several PLC applications and several HMI applications integrated with the PLC.

0015 - This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lectures will be offered online. Projects will be completed in the AME lab at the Wausau Campus Room I104. This lab is open Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00am-8:00PM, Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm. For questions, contact Steve Wittenberg, academic advisor.
