Builds on skills developed in SMAW 1. Learners cellulose and low hydrogen electrogen electrodes in fillet and groove welds in all positions. Weld quality is assessed per AWS D1.1 - Structural Steel Code.

Notes
This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lab competencies will be completed in the Welding Lab at the Antigo Campus. The Welding Lab is open Monday/Thursday from 4:00PM - 5:00PM for classroom work and Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 5:00PM - 8:00PM for general lab work.
