Acquire the basic business processes and practices needed for success in the meat industry. Accounting, inventory management, marketing, cost/profit structures, and variable vs. fixed costs will all be explored.
Builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in the previous courses. Students will learn about the day-to-day operations of a business, managing finances, developing customer service policies, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer base. Students will also learn about digital marketing, developing a product roadmap, managing employees, and planning for an exit strategy. By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and skills to build a sustainable and scalable business.
Introduces learners to the format and types of questions given in the math, chemistry, and anatomy & physiology portions of the HESI test. Sample questions and possible study materials will be discussed. Upon completion of the course, learners will have a greater understanding of the test. Additionally, course completion will assist in determining if learners feel ready to test, or would like to pursue additional study opportunities prior to testing.
Explores entrepreneurial ventures and provides the newest tools, skills and mindset needed to thrive in the uncertain environment of entrepreneurship. Leaners will use real-world examples, case studies and business model design tools to develop entrepreneurial projects.
Examines proven strategies designed to help learners achieve greater personal, academic, and professional success. Learners will apply personal responsibility thinking and behaviors; self- management, awareness, and motivation strategies; as well as interdependence skills to develop a proactive life plan.
