Builds on skills developed in SMAW 1. Learners cellulose and low hydrogen electrogen electrodes in fillet and groove welds in all positions. Weld quality is assessed per AWS D1.1 - Structural Steel Code.

- >This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lab competencies will be completed in the Welding Lab at the Wausau Campus. This lab is open Monday 4:00PM-8:00PM. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the hours are 3:00PM-8:00PM
