Precision Agriculture Electronic Systems (31070108)

Expands on learner’s ability to demonstrate an understanding of electronic systems. Applies electronic principles in diagnosing, installing and repairing Precision electrical systems and components. Learners examine Global Positioning Systems operation, and advanced testing benefits and diagnostics relating to precision agriculture equipment.

Precision Agriculture Implements (31070110)

Expands learner’s ability to demonstrate the operation, adjustment and service of various pieces of Precision Agriculture equipment. This course incorporates equipment repair and set up on a wide variety of Precision Agriculture Equipment including self-propelled units. Specific equipment will be dependent upon units that are available during the class, such as spraying, planting, harvesting or other Precision Agriculture related equipment.

Precision Agriculture Fluid Power Systems (31070109)

3.00

Expands learner’s ability to demonstrate and understanding of fluid power utilized in Precision Agriculture Equipment systems including pressure, flow, force, torque and horsepower. Fundamental circuits are connected and tested on hydraulic trainers. Major components are identified, connected and analyzed. Pneumatic power transmission including compressed air production and preparation, valves, actuators and air consumption will also be looked at.
