The Youth and Family Certificate is intended to give human service professionals a core function of classes centered on children, their families and their environments. This certificate is intended for those who wish to work or are working with families. Learners will increase their knowledge of life span development, child maltreatment, issues related to dysfunction within the family crisis response, and worker self-care.
Courses for this program may be available at a variety of campus locations through multiple modes of delivery if you meet the admission requirements and prerequisites.

The Youth & Family Certificate is a 18 Credit program. The following is a typical semester breakdown of the courses within the program.
* College 101 (10-890-165) is not part of the program credit requirements but is a College Requirement for graduation that must be passed with a “C” or better.
