The Central WI Construction Conference will bring speakers Phil Borchardt, Building Inspector, Leroy Stublaski, Construction Expert, and Joe Nagan, Energy Conservation Expert together to breakdown SPS codes and regulations.
Session 1: Leroy Stublaski & Phil Borchardt
State Construction Standards: Codes in chapter SPS 321 and interpreting their impact through the building process. Will cover subchapters on Design Criteria, Excavations, Footings, Floors, Walls, and Roof and Ceilings.
Session 2: Joe Nagan
State Energy Conservation: Codes in chapter SPS 322. Will cover subchapters on Insulation Materials and Installation, Dwelling Thermal Envelope, Systems, and Exterior Wall Coverings.
Session 3: Phil BorcharDt
Deck Code: Appendix B along with chapter SPS 321 Exiting. Will cover Footings and Post Connections, Beams, Joists, Free-Standing Decks, Decking, Stairs, Guards and Hand Railings.
