Ground Defense Tactics Training

Fridays, January 10 - May 30, 2025 8:00am - 9:00am
Students will receive instruction in techniques that are applicable to law enforcement from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and mixed martial arts disciplines and build on the basic foundations of defense and arrest tactics principles taught by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board.

Medication Assistant Training

Spring session starts Wednesday, January 29, 2025
The Medication Assistant is a Certified Nursing Assistant employed in a nursing home who administers specific medications under the supervision of the nursing staff. The training program provides an opportunity for students to develop the knowledge of standard practices related to administration of medications affecting multiple body systems and meets the state requirements for certification.

Basic SWAT Training

May 5-9, 2025 8:00am-5pm
This comprehensive training provides an introduction to tactical skills. Participants will be introduced to basic SWAT topics, tactics and techniques including a historical overview of SWAT, team organization and structure, resolution of barricaded suspect situations, covert individual and team movement, searches and room clearing, chemical agents, less-lethal options, warrant service and multiple field training exercises.
