The Band Saw Filer Certificate program is a hands-on intensive training that prepares learners for careers in the saw filing profession. In just 4 weeks, students will learn proven procedures to effectively bench, fit, and repair saws while learning to properly align band mills to increase saw longevity and sawing accuracy. Learners will practice these fundamental skills under the direction of our expert instructor utilizing NTC’s modern saw filing facility. Learn more here

Cost: $3,950 + books & PPE

Grant funding available! 

With support from the US Forest Service, Northcentral Technical College has been provided grant dollars to help offset training costs to qualified applicants. Employers within 33 states and the District of Columbia (highlighted in blue) can apply for a stipend reimbursement of costs associated with training. Stipend payments will be provided after successful completion of the four-week Band Saw Filer Certificate. The USDA Forest Service is an equal opportunity provider.
