Yusef Sayeed, MD, MPH, Meng, FAIUM
Dr. Yusef Sayeed is the Acting Executive Director of Telehealth Services for the Veterans Health Administration. He is an Interventional Pain Management physician and board certified in Occupational Medicine. As Clinical Assistant Professor at the Uniform Services University for the Health Sciences in the department of PM&R he teaches residents and fellows. Dr. Sayeed graduated from the University of Louisville with both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering. He then completed a Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Kentucky where he also went to Medical School. He completed a clinical research fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. He then completed his internship training at the University of Pennsylvania in Physiatry and his Occupational Medicine residency at West Virginia University. He then went on to complete his Interventional Pain Fellowship at the Deuk Spine Center.

Harold Bennett, MD
Dr. Harold Bennett, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist based in Madison, WI, with over 35 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1988 and has been affiliated with SSM Health St Mary's Hospital-Madison. Dr. Bennett specializes in diagnostic radiology and is accepting new patients. His expertise includes utilizing x-ray, radionuclides, ultrasound, and electromagnetic radiation to diagnose and treat diseases.
Mindy Vanderleest MBA, RDMS (AB, OB/GYN, FE), RVT
With 13 years of clinical experience and five years as an educator at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Mindy Vanderleest brings both depth and passion to the field. While balancing teaching and clinical work, she earned her MBA from Edgewood College in 2020. Dedicated to advancing the profession, Mindy values the rich community of sonography and the mentorship that has shaped her career. She is committed to inspiring and equipping the next generation of sonographers through education, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
Vascular Track Speakers:
Ayman Ahmed, MBBS DABS RPVI FACS FSVS
As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Ahmed treats people with anything that effects the blood vessels, including vascular trauma, artery blockage resulting in stroke, pain with eating or walking, non-healing wounds, vascular aneurysms, simple and complex dialysis access (fistulas, grafts, catheters), blood clots in veins, venous system issues and varicose veins causing pain to walk. Dr. Ahmed has special interest in Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), complex venous reconstruction and arterial aneurysms. He received his medical degree from University of Khartoum in Khartoum, Sudan. Dr. Ahmed completed residency in general surgery at University of California-San Francisco, California and fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Javariah Asghar, MD MPH, FACS
Dr. Javariah Asghar is a vascular surgeon and treats patients for carotid disease, aortic aneurysm repair, limb preservation, blocked arteries, dialysis access and more. Dr. Asghar received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota and later completed her residency there. She also completed an endovascular and vascular surgery fellowship at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Columbia University Medical Center in New York.

Merri Bremer, EdD, RN, ACS, RDCS, FASE, AACC
Merri L. Bremer, Ed.D., RN, ACS, RDCS, FASE, is the Echocardiography Laboratory Education and Quality Coordinator and Advanced Cardiovascular Sonography (ACS) Program Director at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is board-certified as a Registered Nurse and holds the sonographer credentials of RDCS and ACS. Dr. Bremer holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and earned a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She is an active member of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS). Dr. Bremer is currently Chair of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Board of Directors. She participates in ultrasound program accreditation through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) and is a member of the Cardiovascular Credentialing, Intl (CCI) ACS Credentialing Exam Committee.

Please note credits are submitted to SDMS. SDMS does not send credits to ARDMS unless you are an SDMS member. If not, you are responsible for submitting your certificates to ARDMS. Credit submitted within 30 days of conference. Late submissions will not be sent.

Cancellation Policy
An attendee must notify NTC of a cancellation prior to the beginning of the event in order to have fees removed or a refund issued. Attendees who do not attend without notifying Continuing Education will be responsible for payment of all course fees and will not be eligible for a refund. If cancelling within 7 days of the conference, a 50% refund will be issued.
