(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and the Michigan Tech Mind Trekkers are pleased to announce the return of STEM Fest, a dynamic and interactive event celebrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics at NTC’s Wausau Campus Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
At STEM Fest, attendees will experience the awe and power of science through hands-on experimentation, guided by students from Michigan Technological University. It presents a unique opportunity to experience science in action with engaging activities such as:
- Playing a piano made of bananas
- Skewering a balloon without popping it
- Stepping inside a giant bubble
STEM Fest provides an interactive learning environment that blends fun with education, making scientific concepts accessible and exciting. Attendees will be able to explore exhibits, engage with STEM professionals and participate in experiments that showcase the real-world applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Mind Trekkers is a nationally acclaimed traveling STEM roadshow that brings high-energy, hands-on experiments to communities across the country. It is designed to inspire curiosity and foster a love for STEM fields among students of all ages. The event brings together educators, industry professionals and the community to highlight the importance of STEM education in building a strong future workforce.
STEM Fest is free and open to the public. Families, educators and STEM enthusiasts are encouraged to attend.
