WAUSAU, Wis. (July 20, 2026) — Northcentral Technical College (NTC) invites students planning to start college this fall to The Final Countdown enrollment event on Wednesday, August 5 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the NTC Wausau campus. The event is designed to help future students complete their enrollment in a single visit before the fall semester begins.
During the event, NTC staff will be available to guide students through every step of the enrollment process, including:
- Completing an application for admission
- Applying for financial aid
- Registering for fall classes
- Learning more about the Timberwolf Ready program
- Scheduling follow-up academic advising appointments
Students attending the event should bring a valid government issued photo I.D., social security card, transcripts (official or unofficial) from their high school or post-secondary institutions or an ACT score.
Assistance will be provided on a first come, fist served basis, and students should visit www.ntc.edu/final-countdown to see time estimates and plan their visit accordingly.
Students applying to programs with enrollment capacity restrictions will not complete enrollment during the event. Admission to these programs is determined by application completion date. For questions about capacity restricted programs, students are encouraged to contact the NTC Admissions team.
