Introduces PLC hardware setup, software applications and system configuration. Basic industrial control problems are solved using Bit Based Instructions. Various kinds of sensors and other input devices will be applied to the PLC. Output devices will be controlled by the PLC.

  • This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lectures will be offered online. Projects will be completed in the AME lab at the Wausau Campus Room I104. This lab is open Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 8:00am-4:00PM, Tuesday 8:00am-8:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm. For questions, contact Steve Wittenberg, academic advisor.
