Initiates intravenous therapy and administers select medications as approved by DHS and local medical directors via intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, sublingual and inhalation routes. Condition: Current State of Wisconsin EMT License.

Attend Your Way -- Students can join open labs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the Wausau Campus and/or Students can complete labs at other locations as long as the skills are signed off by an approved preceptor. -- Students may also work with the instructor after class has started to have NTC's EMS assistants meet with students at NTC's regional campuses in Phillips, Antigo, Medford, or Spencer-- In-Person Labs Available Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 6 pm at the Emergency Services Training Center (ESTC) at the Wausau Main Campus
