The Student Persistence Dashboard provides a high-level summary of student performance at Northcentral Technical College (NTC), focusing on key indicators of student success, including retention to next term, one-year retention, and graduation rates.
To support data-informed decision-making and equity-focused interventions, the dashboard disaggregates data by student populations, including race/ethnicity, sex, admit type (first-year, transfer, second-degree), first-generation status, attendance level (full-time vs. part-time), and socioeconomic status (Pell recipients and economically disadvantaged students). This allows NTC to identify and track equity gaps in student outcomes and develop targeted strategies to enhance student success.
Additionally, the dashboard provides insight into program retention as defined by WTCS, measuring how many students start in a program at a given time, how many persist to the next year, and how many graduate within three years (150% time).
