NTC’s Public Safety Center of Excellence is a licensed administrator of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) and is pleased to offer the only indoor CPAT test site in the state of Wisconsin. The test is offered year-round at an indoor facility located on our 37-acre campus in Merrill, Wisconsin. The specialized CPAT equipment and the trained CPAT personnel are available on-site to provide a convenient and affordable means of assessing individual physical ability.

NTC delivers the CPAT in accordance with strict guidelines prescribed by the IAFF and IAFC. CPAT candidates receive mentoring and orientation that helps them to successfully complete the test.
