In this class you will configure software deployment, Operating System deployment, patch management, Identity and Security management, and inventory management of the infrastructure.
Introduce learners to the fundamental techniques essential for effective massage treatments. Emphasis is placed on learning various modalities including Swedish massage, chair massage, hot stone massage, pregnancy massage, and aromatherapy using demonstrations and hands-on practice. Learners will apply learned techniques in a supervised clinical setting, allowing them to refine their skills and gain confidence in their abilities.
Applies techniques and skills learned in previous computer courses to advanced page layout projects. Learners will revisit the principles of design, prioritize work, prepare jobs for production, create output ready documents, examine the job planning process and apply advanced techniques for print, web and mobile presentation.
Explores Adobe Photoshop as a tool to create, adjust and manipulate images for print and web. Special attention is given to image manipulation techniques, color/tonal correction, resolution and output issues. Familiarity with Macintosh operating system suggested.
Provide learners with an understanding of the foundational principles in anatomy, physiology, and pathology essential for success in the field of massage therapy. The composition of the body will be introduced, and learners will gain knowledge about each body system as well as disorders and medical conditions associated with them. Special attention will be given to the muscular and skeletal systems and learners will locate and palpate major muscles and bony landmarks throughout the body.
This state approved course prepares you for the National Restaurant Association Certification examination from the Department of Health and Social Services by providing managers and employees in the food-service industry the knowledge of food-safety procedures. By taking this state approved course and passing the certification examination, you will be eligible to apply for your Certified Food Manager License from the Department of Health and Social Services. This class offers an exam-only option for students who feel they can successfully complete the ServSafe Manager exam without instruction. Note: Due to frequent changes in food safety regulations that are included on the exam, it is strongly recommended that students take the certification course to ensure successful completion of the exam and license renewal.
Instructs learners in the estimation of printing jobs and in the overall business side of the printing industry. Areas covered include production organization, scheduling, sales, customer service, job planning, supervisory management, standard production times, budgeted hourly rates, paper calculations, billing and the use of Printer's Plan Estimating software.
