This course will provide the basic knowledge necessary to work within a spreadsheet and perform basic editing. Learners will go through an overview of the processes to create a spreadsheet and learn how to enter data, format cells and create simple formulas. This is a hands on, interactive course where learners will be able to apply the concepts from the course on a spreadsheet.
Learners will learn all the essential features of Windows. Covers everything you need to know to install Windows, including customization, applications, and navigation. Explores managing folders, Mail, Calendars, and Contacts.
This course will provide a more in-depth look at Excel spreadsheets and focus on more advanced tools. First students should take the Basics and if they need more help they can then take the intermediate.

This state approved course prepares you for the National Restaurant Association Certification examination from the Department of Health and Social Services by providing managers and employees in the food-service industry the knowledge of food-safety procedures. By taking this state approved course and passing the certification examination, you will be eligible to apply for your Certified Food Manager License from the Department of Health and Social Services. Examines the intermediate level Microsoft PowerPoint skills which build upon the basic Microsoft PowerPoint concepts. Learners will demonstrate their ability to perform a number of hands-on, project based PowerPoint intermediate level activities including but not limited to customizing slide masters/presentations, project collaboration, adding animation, formatting tables/charts, adding media and enhancing SmartArt.
Examines the intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills which build upon the basic Microsoft Excel concepts. Learners will demonstrate their ability to perform a number of hands-on, project based Excel intermediate level activities including but not limited to working with multiple worksheets and workbooks, creating, sorting and querying a table, importing data, working with SmartArt, images and screenshots, and financial functions.
Examines the intermediate level Microsoft Word skills which build upon the basic Microsoft Word concepts. Learners will demonstrate their ability to perform a number of hands-on, project based Word intermediate level activities including but not limited to creating and managing multipage documents, formatting text, paragraphs and sections, creating tables and lists, mail merge, creating a newsletter, sharing documents, and inserting/formatting objects.
Expands learnerâs proficiency using advanced functions and features of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Basic Microsoft Outlook functions and features will also be introduced. Learners will further develop advanced skills with hands-on, project-based activities leading up to the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Associate Certification exams as capstones in the course. This will provide learners not only with college course credit but also globally industry recognized credentials and digital badging for the Microsoft Office Specialist Associate Level Certifications.

This class offers an exam-only option for students who feel they can successfully complete the ServSafe Manager exam without instruction. Note: Due to frequent changes in food safety regulations that are included on the exam, it is strongly recommended that students take the certification course to ensure successful completion of the exam and license renewal.
