Program Description

The Basic Wood Manufacturing Certificate provides basic skills for people entering the wood manufacturing fields. n this certificate skills emphasized will be the identification, inspection and scaling of lumber and logs, the machining and physical properties of wood, the manufacturing processes and methods found in the forest products industry, as well as two-dimensional drafting. This certificate will also incorporate an environmental component focusing on the elimination of waste and recycling. The Basic Wood Manufacturing Certificate is only available at the Antigo Campus.
