LOCAL ANESTHESIA FOR DENTAL HYGIENISTS (47508405)

This comprehensive course will cover the neurophysiology and pharmacology of local anesthetic agents and how to effectively deliver them within the oral cavity. Participants will have hands-on experience and practice their skills in the NTC Center for Health Sciences Dental Clinic, working on each other. Successful completion of this course, plus documentation of inferior alveolar injection at your worksite will qualify participants to apply for the credentialing certificate to administer local anesthesia from the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services.
