Explores Adobe Photoshop as a tool to create, adjust and manipulate images for print and web. Special attention is given to image manipulation techniques, color/tonal correction, resolution and output issues. Familiarity with Macintosh operating system suggested.

Explores the equipment, software, and techniques used in producing and editing quality audio for video and animation projects. Learners capture sound in studio and on-location settings using professional microphones and apply editing, mixing, and syncing techniques to integrate sound with picture. Focuses on recording dialogue and narration, creating and utilizing sound effects and foley sounds, balancing music and background elements, and exporting professional-quality audio tracks.

Emphasizes the vocabulary, tools, and techniques used to transform raw footage into finished video projects. Learners use professional editing software to develop non-linear editing techniques, organize projects, manipulate footage and graphics, and assemble narrative sequences. Focuses on editing workflow, pacing, continuity, and visual storytelling principles that support the creation of polished video and animation productions.
