Artificial intelligence is transforming the marketing industry, and Northcentral Technical College is leading the way in helping students harness its power.

Dr. Amy Gajewski, a marketing and digital marketing instructor at NTC, is passionate about showing students how AI can complement, rather than replace, the creativity and emotion that drive marketing.

“AI cannot replace human emotion,” she said. “In marketing, emotion is everything when it comes to connecting with the customer.”

Dr. Gajewski has integrated AI tools into her courses, giving students hands-on opportunities to explore everything from prompting and campaign creation to analytics and social listening. Students use AI to brainstorm ideas, develop marketing campaigns and analyze data, all while learning how to maintain an authentic brand voice.

Understanding how to use AI tools gives students a competitive edge. Dr. Gajewski emphasized that NTC’s proactive approach helps students stay ahead of industry demands.

“As soon as NTC started realizing this and jumping into it very early on, I was really excited by that,” she said. “I can have my students graduate and go out and make an impact to local businesses in the community instantly with this knowledge base.”

By combining technical innovation with human creativity, NTC’s marketing program equips graduates with the skills to thrive in today’s ever-evolving marketing landscape.
