Through hands-on application, students actively use AI to brainstorm product names, sharpen sales presentations, develop advertising concepts and produce campaign materials such as digital ads, flyers and multimedia content. This approach fosters an engaging, active learning environment where students move beyond theory and into real-time creation.
A key focus of the program is strengthening students’ ability to think critically about AI-generated content. As they refine prompting techniques, students learn to evaluate outputs, distinguish authentic brand voice from automated messaging and make informed decisions about when and how to use AI effectively. This emphasis ensures that technology enhances, not replaces, human creativity and strategic thinking.
The integration of AI is intentionally aligned with current industry practices. Students gain experience with tools used in modern marketing, including content, image and video generation platforms, preparing them to contribute immediately in a rapidly evolving workforce. By using AI as a collaborative assistant, students improve writing quality, accelerate idea generation and develop more sophisticated campaign strategies.
Graduates leave the program with a strong foundation in ethical AI use, advanced critical thinking skills and practical experience applying emerging technologies. Consistent with NTC’s commitment to accessible, high-quality education, this approach empowers students to build marketable skills, adapt to industry change and confidently pursue their professional goals.

View all transfer guidesThe estimated Cost of Attendance (COA) is a budget that includes categories of expenses that a student can expect to incur while attending college. The COA does not reflect actual charges. It is an average based on the estimated living costs typical of our region. In determining the cost of attendance, Northcentral Technical College uses the budget established by the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Financial Aid Budget Work Group. This budget is used to determine financial need for all students who apply for financial aid. A student’s cost of attendance is composed of all educational expenses that can be included for financial aid purposes that a student may accrue while pursuing their education for the year (or semester, if enrolled less than a year). A student’s financial aid cannot exceed their cost of attendance. Schools are required to provide a fuller picture of what it may cost students to pursue their degree, not just what they will owe in tuition/fees and books/supplies.
