ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
Examines normal human anatomy and physiology using a body systems approach with emphasis on the interrelationships between form and function at the gross and microscopic levels of organization. Cellular metabolism and the individual components of body systems will be explored. Continued examination of homeostatic mechanisms and their relationship to fluid, electrolyte, acid-base balance and blood and integration of genetics to human reproduction and development are also included in this course.
By teaching Advanced Cardiac Life Support (“ACLS”) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (“PALS”) methodologies and protocols, this course prepares the paramedic learner in the integration of comprehensive knowledge of causes and pathophysiology into the management of shock, respiratory failure, respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest and peri-arrest states with an emphasis on early intervention to prevent respiratory and/or cardiac arrest if possible.
This course teaches the paramedic learner to integrate scene and patient assessment findings with knowledge of epidemiology and pathophysiology to form a field impression. By utilizing a structured and organized assessment process with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, life span development and changes that occur to the human body with time, the learners will learn to develop a list of differential diagnoses through clinical reasoning, along with the ability to modify the assessment as necessary to formulate a treatment plan for their patient.

Utilizes the knowledge gained in previous semesters to build more complex design models, add new features, and analyze their designs even further, with functions like vehicle tracking, quantity take Off tools, and storm & sanitary analysis. Provides a deeper development of complex corridor targeting in roadway design and advanced grading tools for site designs, all while adding additional underground utilities to our design models and plan sets. These tools will then again be used to create accurate construction models and plans sets ready for practical use.

Students defend the dental profession's ethical standards. This course delves into advanced principles and practices of dental health safety within the context of dental therapy practice.
Program drive parameters for a drive application. This course will teach students how to create a custom parameter group based upon drive applications. Throughout this course, the instructor will cover a range of topics from establishing communications with a PowerFlex 525 drive via a USB connection and Ethernet/IP network to test parameters of a PowerFlex 525 drive and control a drive in STUDIO 5000.
Expands non-linear editing concepts and techniques to an advanced level through hands-on project work using professional post-production software. Learners edit documentary, narrative, and music video footage, utilizing effects, filters, and titling tools to create fully polished video projects ready for web publishing and professional presentation.
This curriculum expands the role and skills of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Skills will include obtaining intravenous and intraosseous access, intranasal, intramuscular and subcutaneous medication administration, and fluid therapy. Extensive patient assessment knowledge and skills and treatment decision making skills are integrated throughout the curriculum. Successful completion prepares the learner for the National Registry AEMT written examination.
Prerequisite: A current Wisconsin EMT license is required.

Develops learner's ability to design and create construction drawings for a one-story residence including: foundation and floor plans, wall and stair sections and elevations (AutoCAD 2D software will be utilized). Design and analysis of joist, stair, and roof design is also covered.
Provides instruction in the design and preparation of working drawings for a tri-level residence on a city lot to meet local and state codes. Learners will prepare drawings for bidding as produced in an architectural or custom design office. Coursework will include the preparation of site plans, floor plans, foundation plans, elevations, sections, framing plans and finish schedules. Explores the latest version of Autodesk's AutoCAD program as a 2D design, drafting and visualization tool. Provides learners with skill development starting at an introductory level and progressing to a level in which authentic architectural construction graphics and working drawings including annotations can be developed.
Introduces AutoCAD by working with templates, creating and manipulating layers; basic drawing and editing commands, annotation and dimensions, and utilize inquiry tools, along with blocks, attributes, and plotting. Students will also develop the ability to use basic commands within AutoCAD Civil 3D, from importing survey data and parcel features, to alignments and profile generation, and will also spend time learning the custom user interface, core styles (used to display Civil 3D objects), and utilizing coordinate systems to start drawing files.
Introduces the 3-dimensional modeling software Inventor to create solid part models, sheet metal and assemblies. The learner will create parts and assemblies as well as related 2D working drawings, bills of materials and animations. Learners will practice their skills on a variety of projects with various levels of difficulty.

The training is designed to provide universal skills in areas that every babysitter should know, including basic care for infants and children, basic First Aid, child behavior and appropriate activities, emergency protocols, and more.

This Basic Motorcycle Rider course consists of classroom and range instruction designed for beginning riders and was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). The Basic Rider Course covers preparing to ride, turning, shifting and braking, street strategies, special situations, increasing riding skills, maintenance and insurance. Instructors are certified by the MSF and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). It is taught off-street, out of traffic, and motorcycles and helmets are provided. In addition there is a 5 hour ECourse that must be completed within 30 days prior to class(fees for ECourse are included in the overall class price).
This Basic Motorcycle Rider 2 course consists of classroom and range instruction designed for riders with their Wisconsin Motorcycle Instruction Permit who are either returning to riding or are seeking a refresher course to practice and/or seeking their motorcycle license or endorsement (already licensed or endorsed riders may also participate). Any person over the age of 16 may enroll in this course. The student must already possess basic riding skills such as starting out, stopping, and turning. Students must bring their own 2 wheel motorcycle which may be a manual or automatic. Students must provide proof of registration and insurance for the motorcycle they will be using. In addition there is a 4 hour ECourse that must be completed within 30 days prior to class(fees for ECourse are included in the overall class price) The in-person portion consists of eight range exercises, including a screening exercise to verify participants have sufficient skill to continue. This course may also be used to waive the road test when applying for the Wisconsin Motorcycle license, as long as the student also completes the E-Course.
