Explore the fundamental techniques essential for effective massage treatments. Emphasis is placed on learning various modalities including Swedish massage, chair massage, hot stone massage, and pregnancy massage using demonstrations and hands-on practice. Learners will apply learned techniques in a supervised clinical setting, allowing them to refine their skills and gain confidence in their abilities.

Therapeutic Massage Techniques 2 (31537303)

Perform massage modalities such as sports massage, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy and adjunctive therapies such as cupping. Other topics include working with infants, children, elderly clients, as well as clients who have disabilities and those with a history of cancer. Learners will apply learned techniques in a supervised clinical setting, allowing them to refine their skills and gain confidence in their abilities.
