Spring 2019 President’s List for Outstanding Academic Achievement

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the President’s List for outstanding academic achievement for the spring 2019 term. The following students enrolled in a post-secondary program, earned a 3.75 grade point average or above and successfully completed a minimum of six credits during the spring term.

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is excited to announce the launch of collegiate esports in fall 2019. The varsity esports team will compete as a member of the National Association of Collegiate esports (NACE), the governing body for esports. The college will initially compete in three games including Overwatch, League of Legends and Rocket League.

EMT Students at NTC Raise Funds for Family of Fallen Firefighter

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Students completing the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program at Northcentral Technical College (NTC) united to support the family of a fallen firefighter in Wisconsin. After students learned about the series of events that tragically cause the line-of-duty death of Appleton Firefighter, Mitch Lundgaard, they knew that they needed to do something.

High School Students Complete Youth Sheriff’s Academy

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – In partnership with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Northcentral Technical College (NTC) welcomed students entering 9th – 12th grade to the Youth Sheriff’s Academy. Students participated in a variety of activities during the week-long academy that ran July 15 – 19. Activities included department operations, field training and bomb squad operations. Participants also visited the Marathon County Courthouse for an overview of the legal process and jail procedures.
