Kiln Drying

This workshop is packed with valuable and important information for kiln operators and managers. The variety and quality of the information make this a must attend event. The workshop will focus on drying systems, controlling lumber quality, species specific drying, wood structure and drying science. Reid and Associates through extensive research and practical experience over the past 69 years.

This course is an updated overview of how the continuum of oral interpreting may apply when working with students in the K-12 setting. Content includes a continuum of a more oral-form of interpreting, characteristics of students who may use oral interpreters, and resources that support the education of these students.Class time will be informative, reflective, and include practice of newly learned skills.

All classes are taught in person and utilize Northcentral Technical College's 27,000 square foot state-of-the-art Wood Technology Center of Excellence.

This one-day workshop demonstrates the principles and concepts of Lean business through lectures, videos, sample report outs and multiple hands-on simulations. This course presents training to a designated team of fire, Emergency Medical Services, public works, public health, law enforcement and other agencies as  necessary.

Field Training Officer

This forty-hour course is specifically designed for experienced uniformed patrol personnel selected to serve as field training officers with probationary employees.  The course emphasizes the FTO's role in assisting probationers to certify for solo patrol operations by applying the knowledge and skills acquired during basic police training/certification and using them according to agency policy, procedures and community service delivery standards and the Probationary Officer Manual training task protocols.
