This American Red Cross Babysitting Certification course will prepare youth to be safe, effective, and responsible babysitters. The training is designed to provide universal skills in areas that every babysitter should know, including basic care for infants and children, basic First Aid, child behavior and appropriate activities, emergency protocols, and more.
This Basic Motorcycle Rider course consists of classroom and range instruction designed for beginning riders and was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). The Basic Rider Course covers preparing to ride, turning, shifting and braking, street strategies, special situations, increasing riding skills, maintenance and insurance. Instructors are certified by the MSF and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). It is taught off-street, out of traffic, and motorcycles and helmets are provided. In addition there is a 5 hour ECourse that must be completed within 30 days prior to class(fees for ECourse are included in the overall class price).
This comprehensive training provides an introduction to tactical skills. Students will be introduced to basic SWAT topics, tactics and techniques including a historical overview of SWAT, team organization and structure, resolution of barricaded suspect situations, covert individual and team movement, searches and room clearing, chemical agents, less-lethal options, warrant service and multiple field training exercises. This is a hands-on course in which students practice tactics and techniques in the field as well as in the classroom.
In this class students will learn the basics of beekeeping, including the biology of bees, how to maintain a hive, the life cycle of bees, the hierarchy of the hive, protecting your bees from disease and predators, as well as how to winterize your hives.
This American Heart Association approved course covers adult and pediatric CPR and FBAO, two-rescuer CPR, barrier devices and AED. The course focuses on the needs of the professional caregiver. The Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) - Full Session includes the orientation, two (2) timed course practices and a CPAT test. During the orientation session, we will explain the testing process and how the equipment works. You will have the chance to ask questions and try the testing equipment. The pass rate of those who attend the orientations is higher than for those who do not, so it is highly recommended that you attend at least one of these orientations. The two practice tests are the same and we attempt to run the practice test under actual testing conditions. If the test is run under actual testing conditions and you successfully complete the test this is considered a PASS and you will not need to attend any further testing.
The Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) - Test Out is for a ONE-TIME try to challenge the CPAT course. Acknowledgment and waiver of CPAT orientation and/or conditioning period and/or timed practice runs will need to submitted.
This 96-hour course prepares the participant to be able to perform fire fighting functions at the nationally recognized minimum levels under direct supervision. The targeted audience is individuals who desire to become Wisconsin Certified Fire Fighter I based on the requirements set by SPS 330.08, Employment standards, Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. This course is designed to provide the Fire Fighter I candidate with the information needed to meet the job performance requirements (JPRs) defined in NFPA 1001, Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, Current Edition, Chapters 5.2 through 5.5. The participant must also complete the Hazardous Materials Operation level course in order to meet the remainder of the NFPA Fire Fighter I JPR requirements.

This state approved course prepares you for the National Restaurant Association Certification examination from the Department of Health and Social Services by providing managers and employees in the food-service industry the knowledge of food-safety procedures. By taking this state approved course and passing the certification examination, you will be eligible to apply for your Certified Food Manager License from the Department of Health and Social Services. This course prepares students to successfully complete the ServSafe Manager exam with 2 hours of instructor led exam prep and completion of the standardized exam. The course will cover key concepts, regulations, and certification requirements. Group Dynamics is an alcohol/drug education course for those persons convicted of operation while intoxicated (OWI) and who are identified as irresponsible users of alcohol and/or drugs by an assessment agency. The main goal of this course is to develop an individualized plan to modify or eliminate inappropriate behaviors and attitudes related to drinking and driving. This course is open only to those who have had a court-ordered assessment from an approved assessment agency.
Learn techniques for urban cultivation of mushrooms with simple controls of temperature, humidity, light, and air exchange (like us, mushrooms breath in oxygen and produce CO2). These controls enable us to provide a steady, year-round harvest of fresh mushrooms. We will discuss a large variety of mushrooms that changes with the seasons. Some of those varieties are an assortment of Oyster mushrooms such as Italian, Blue, Pink, and Pearl, as well as specialty varieties such as Speckled Chestnut and Lions Mane.

It is based on the National Fire Academy (NFA) Initial Response to Hazardous Materials Incidents: Basic Concepts and Initial Response to Hazardous Materials Incidents: Concepts Implementation curriculums.
Wisconsin’s Underage Alcohol & Other Drugs Education Program is designed to promote the well-being of individuals under 21 years of age who have been cited for alcohol and other drug-related violations. These violations may include Juvenile Alcohol (possession, consumption, purchasing or attempting to purchase) and Underage Alcohol Operation (Absolute Sobriety Law violation), among others. The program’s goals are to educate young people about the risks and consequences of alcohol and other drug use and to help them to develop skills and a personal action plan to avoid future problems.
Introduces learners to primary overhead work. Learners will continue to practice advanced pole climbing techniques, and operate utility trucks and equipment.
This course provides youth between ages 12 to 16 with the necessary requirements to be certified for compliance under Wisconsin Act 455 to operate tractors or self-propelled machinery for their own family on public roads. This course also meets the requirements for the U.S. Department of Labor Agriculture Hazards Occupation Order for youth 14-15 years of age employed on a farm other than their family farm.
The Traffic Safety (Point Reduction) class is designed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to review basic safe driving concepts and may be attended by anyone. Emphasis will be placed on how to develop a personal change plan to reduce the risk of traffic violations and crashes. Upon successful completion of the class, the student may request a three (3) point reduction of the demerit points on their license. NOTE: This course can be taken for point reduction purposes once every three years.
