Designed for learners seeking the Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement on their Commercial Driver License (CDL) as defined in § 383.93(c)(4). Successful completion of this course satisfies the Entry Level Driver Training requirements for eligibility to take the knowledge test for the H endorsement at the Department of Motor Vehicles. This course is designed specifically for drivers to safely transport hazardous materials. It helps satisfy the function-specific training requirements (49 CFR 172.702(a)(2)) and modal-specific training requirements for transport by highway (49 CFR Part 177).
Emphasizes the development of safe driving techniques, inspections, and advanced backing skills. Combined with Class B CDL 2, the content of this course meets or exceeds the minimum federal training requirements for Entry Level Driver Training. Extensive hands-on training will be implemented throughout the course in operating Class B straight trucks, giving the learner the skills needed to test for a Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
Prepares the learner for the Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Exam using classroom and online resources to develop knowledge of non-driving aspects of operating Class B vehicles. Some of this content includes regulations, hours-of-service rules, driver wellness/fatigue, and medical requirements. In combination with the Class B CDL 1, the content of this course meets or exceeds the minimum federal training requirements for Entry Level Driver Training of a Class B commercial vehicle.
Prepares learners to perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a nurse for job entry as a nursing assistant or a home health aide (HHA) in health care agencies. Face-to-face and hybrid classroom, campus lab and clinical instruction are offered at various nursing homes and hospitals throughout the district. Students need to submit an application and complete background check.

This comprehensive program focuses on adult learning principles, curriculum development, lesson planning, teaching strategies, and student performance evaluation. Participants will also gain expertise in supervising clinical practice and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations governing nursing assistant education.
Learner must have valid Wisconsin RN license and two years work experience (one year in long-term, home health, or rehabilitation care). This course will meet the state requirement for nurses who wish to become nursing assistant instructors.

Extensive hands-on training will be implemented throughout the course on tractor-trailers, giving the learner the skills needed to test for a Class A Commercial Driver License. Limited lecture will be used to inform students of industry regulations, driver safety, inspections and communication.
Builds on skills learned in Truck Driving 1 and 2, as students hone skills and practice to test for a Class A Commercial Driver License. This course will focus on hands-on training in advanced driving operations, backing skills, weight distribution techniques, and trip planning.
