When Samyris Thao decided she wanted to become a nurse, she didn't want to leave Wausau. She wanted to stay close to her family, continue helping care for her younger siblings and earn a degree that would prepare her for a meaningful career. Fortunately, she didn't have to choose between those priorities.

Mary Kluck, a 2024 graduate of Northcentral Technical College, recently became a published author. But her book, “Welcome to My Farm,” started long before it was ever printed on a page.

The event is designed to help future students complete their enrollment in a single visit before the fall semester begins.

WAUSAU, Wis. (July 6, 2026) — Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is proud to announce that the College has been selected to participate in the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) Scaling Apprenticeship at Community Colleges project, a national initiative designed to help community colleges expand Registered Apprenticeship programs in nontraditional occupations. NTC was one of only 11 colleges nationwide selected for the cohort.

WAUSAU, Wis. (June, 2026) — Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the President’s List for outstanding academic achievement for the spring 2026 term. The following students enrolled in a post-secondary program, earned a 3.75 grade point average or above and successfully completed a minimum of six credits during the spring term.

WAUSAU, Wis. (June 23, 2026) — Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the 2026 Film, Farm & Culture Fest of Wausau. FFCFW is an annual summer meeting place for audiences and young filmmakers to celebrate award-winning independent films selected from around the world.

WAUSAU, Wis. (June 23, 2026) — Registration is underway for the fall 2026 semester at Northcentral Technical College (NTC). Registration will close Friday, August 14, and the fall semester begins Monday, August 24.
