$250,000 Donation from the Dudley Foundation Donation to Support “Studio 7,” a New Center of Excellence in Communication Technologies

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the development of a new Center of Excellence in Communication Technologies made possible through a generous donation from the Dudley Foundation. The $250,000 donation will support “Studio 7,” a Center of Excellence named in honor of Richard David Dudley and his dedication to his community and his career in broadcasting and communication.

$766,500 Awarded in Tools of the Trade Scholarships

(MADISON, Wis.) – Wisconsin has a longstanding tradition of apprenticeship, developing highly-skilled workers capable of meeting industry needs while also providing individuals with a lifetime skill and knowledge of a trade. Today’s industry demands these trained workers, especially as Wisconsin businesses face a shortage of workers due to retirements, falling birth rates, and loss of talent as people leave the state for other employment opportunities.

Northcentral Technical College Earns 2022-2023 Military Friendly® School Designation

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) announced today that it has earned the 2022-2023 Military Friendly® School designation. Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2022-2023 survey with 665 earning special awards for going above the standard.

Northcentral Technical College and UW-Stevens Point Partner to Expand Local Liberal Arts Transfer Opportunities

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point are pleased to announce a new opportunity for local learners to earn their Associate of Arts and Associate of Science in Liberal Arts. The approval for a new Liberal Arts transfer program between the institutions was granted by the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System at its February 11 meeting.
