Incoming courses must have a grade of “C” (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) or better and meet NTC course competencies and credit requirements. Students may be required to provide syllabi to determine if NTC course competencies have been met. Accepted transfer credit is not included in your cumulative grade point average at NTC.

If you are accepted into a program/certificate, please contact the college or university you previously attended and request that your official transcripts are sent electronically directly to NTC or mailed to the Admissions Office, 1000 W. Campus Drive, Wausau, WI 54401.

Please note: Transcripts will only be considered official if sent directly to NTC from the previously attended college or university. Electronic transcripts issued to the student and opened transcripts will not be considered official.

Transferring From Internationally Based Institutions

If you earned credits outside of the U.S., we require international transcripts be assessed by a certified credential evaluator such as Educational Credential Evaluators or World Education Services.

Once your transcripts have been assessed, the official course-by-course evaluation report should be sent to Student Records, 1000 W. Campus Drive, Wausau, WI 54401.
