PALS (PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT) is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. The goal of PALS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. This American Heart Association approved course is delivered through the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI)® Program.

This course will enhance their treatment knowledge and skills through the AHA’s ACLS training courses.
This course highlights the similarities in equipment and technique between the major arc welding processes. Students complete introductory level competencies in the GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes. Material preparation skills include shearing, sawing, grinding, and thermal cutting. This course is 40 hours for apprenticeship programs.

Explores swing dancing which is one of the most fun and popular social dances. Learn how to dance to most music including pop, rock, blues, jazz and anything in between. Demonstrate and apply how this very casual dance can be used in nearly any setting.
This class will introduce students to different community based dance styles, their techniques, and cultural history and impact. Dances will include ballroom styles such as waltz, foxtrot, tango, or salsa and swing dances.

This American Red Cross Babysitting Certification course will prepare youth to be safe, effective, and responsible babysitters. The training is designed to provide universal skills in areas that every babysitter should know, including basic care for infants and children, basic First Aid, child behavior and appropriate activities, emergency protocols, and more.
In this workshop you will be introduced to a new set of basic tools - the tools of a job site trainer. You will explore the skills that are necessary to be an effective trainer, discover how to deliver hands-on training, and examine the process for giving useful feedback.
The Traffic Safety (Point Reduction) class is designed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to review basic safe driving concepts and may be attended by anyone. Emphasis will be placed on how to develop a personal change plan to reduce the risk of traffic violations and crashes. Upon successful completion of the class, the student may request a three (3) point reduction of the demerit points on their license. NOTE: This course can be taken for point reduction purposes once every three years.

Explore the world of grilling with Chef; participants will make marinades and sauces, grill vegetables, fruits, steak, chicken-on-the-bone and skewered shrimp. This is an introduction to grilling, doneness and flavor building on a gas grill with plenty to feast on at the end.
The 17- hour Basic Motorcycle Rider course, including online ECourse and in person instruction, is designed for beginning riders and was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). Instructors are certified by the MSF and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). It is taught off-street, out of traffic, and motorcycles and helmets are provided. The course consists of 1 hour of classroom and 11 hours of on-cycle instruction. In addition there is a 5 hour ECourse that must be completed prior to class (fees for ECourse separate from course fee). The Basic Rider Course covers preparing to ride, turning, shifting and braking, street strategies, special situations, increasing riding skills, maintenance and insurance.

This class offers an exam-only option for students who feel they can successfully complete the ServSafe Manager exam without instruction. Note: Due to frequent changes in food safety regulations that are included on the exam, it is strongly recommended that students take the certification course to ensure successful completion of the exam and license renewal.

Prepares criminal justice instructor-candidates to create a learning environment that supports learners. Competencies include planning and managing learning, training and evaluation methods and delivering teaching scenarios. This curriculum is endorsed by the Law Enforcement Standards Board and is required of instructors seeking LESB certification. This is a pre-requisite course for all LESB-approved specialized training courses.
This seminar will bring to light the conversation of mental health, post traumatic stress, and building resiliency for those in the public safety professions. In this session participants will define mental health conditions such as post traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression and will identify the signs and symptoms to recognize these conditions both within themselves and with others, and will discuss available resources to seek help, and learn tactics and tools to increase mindfulness and resilience.
This course is designed to introduce students and businesses to the online design and publishing tool, Canva where they will create eye-catching visuals for flyers, social media posts, invitations, presentations and more. Students will be shown the basics of Canva including how to use and customize templates, upload photos, use editing elements, using fonts, uploading and editing videos and audio files and more. Students will have the opportunity to design along with the instructor and/or to create a design of their own.
