Taught by a leading furniture expert, this custom dining room chair design and construction course will take you step-by-step through the process of planning, designing and building your own custom chair. All participants of this course will practice by building their own Stickley-style custom chair during class.

Lean Sigma Accelerated Certificate Training

This accelerated, hybrid format is designed specifically for organizations who want to implement Lean Six Sigma. The Medication Assistant is a Certified Nursing Assistant employed in a nursing home who administers specific medications under the supervision of the nursing staff. The training program provides an opportunity for students to develop the knowledge of standard practices related to administration of medications affecting multiple body systems and meets the state requirements for certification.

Training Within Industry (TWI)

February 25 - March 1, 2019
This training will provide an overview and introduction to Training Within Industry (TWI) and includes sessions on both Job Instruction Training (JI) and Job Relations Training (JR). JI teaches how to effectively breakdown a job and deliver instruction for individual tasks. Developing and delivering training in this structured fashion fosters the conditions for process stability. JR teaches the foundations of positive employee relations. Developing and maintaining these good relationships prevents problems from arising and is paramount to earning loyalty and cooperation from others.
