Explores Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as a strategic business practice that recognizes customers as the core of the business. The learner examines the benefits of a CRM strategy in B2B and B2C settings and develops a strategic CRM business plan.
Explores the latest marketing communication practices, known as integrated marketing communications(IMC), including an overview of major media such as broadcast, print, direct, digital, public relations, and promotions. The learner will create an IMC project using the latest IMC concepts.
Explores the basic foundations of marketing, including the 4Ps of marketing, along with traditional and digital marketing tactics. The learner is introduced to and creates the marketing or digital marketing program exit assessment portfolio. The learner explores a historical timeline of marketing, is introduced to global marketing ethics, and examines contemporary marketing and digital marketing careers.
Examines the strategic market research process and the steps necessary to complete a research plan. The learner creates a complete marketing research project from start to finish, along with reporting the final results. The learner will explore: market needs, researching secondary data, primary data collection and data analysis.
Explores listening and speaking skills to enhance and improve business communication. Learners create and deliver a business meeting with complete agenda and meeting notes. The learner prepares outlines to deliver short presentations about best speaking tips, a product demonstration, and a final marketing presentation that incorporates presentation aids and technologies.
Introduces an understanding of basic marketing fundamentals. The learner will explore consumer demographics, lifestyles and decision making; evaluate product distribution; promotions and price planning. The learner will create a Strategic Marketing Plan combining the components listed and develop a presentation.
Explores best practices to strengthen relationships with customers, understand the importance of managing customer expectations, the financial impact of customer service on corporate performance, and how to satisfy the customer's needs and wants through interaction with the customer. The learner maps the customer journey and builds a customer service strategic plan for a business.
Explore the pros and cons of the iPhone, Android, iPad, Kindle, Nook and other mobile devices, platforms and apps and learn the best practices for marketing each to consumers. The learner will review mobile analytics and market considerations for developing an app. The course presents strategies to effectively integrate mobile advertising, promotional strategies for driving traffic and sales based on business goals. The learner will understand how marketing an app and creating an ad fits into a mobile marketing campaign and ways to analyze results for optimal ROI.
Prepares learners to perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a nurse for job entry as a nursing assistant or a home health aide (HHA) in health care agencies. Face-to-face and hybrid classroom, campus lab and clinical instruction are offered at various nursing homes and hospitals throughout the district. Students need to submit an application and complete background check.
Explores career opportunities through research and job shadowing in a marketing related job. The learner develops answers to interview questions, a resume and cover letter, and a mock interview experience. The learner completes their marketing portfolio.

The learner explores best practices for content creation, building a shoppable site, advertising, consumer engagement, and increased follower trust throughout a variety of relevant social media sites for business.
Develops content to maximize the social media impact by learning how to consistently post content that attracts a growing following of consumers. The learner defines a targeted audience, incorporates tactics to engage an existing audience, develops a strategy to increase followers and creates a social media marketing plan.
The Nursing Assistant Instructor Train-the-Trainer Program is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to effectively teach and train nursing assistant students. This comprehensive program focuses on adult learning principles, curriculum development, lesson planning, teaching strategies, and student performance evaluation. Participants will also gain expertise in supervising clinical practice and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations governing nursing assistant education.
Learner must have valid Wisconsin RN license and two years work experience (one year in long-term, home health, or rehabilitation care). This course will meet the state requirement for nurses who wish to become nursing assistant instructors.
